Untrained users designing instructions for the maker movement
Open Design is driven by the capability of people to translate and communicate their instructions and concepts clearly for wider repetition. The work manifested in a design activity engaging over 7,000 members of the public to design instructions for tea and fire making. The output was an instruction model and the valuable information that users require to assemble or complete a task or thing.
